    [UPDATED] This catalog entry contains annual Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) summary files at the census tract level for the years 2018 to 2023 (revised dataset published December 2024). We used loan-level data to create neighborhood variables that summarize mortgage loan applications by age, race and ethnicity, income level, and combinations of race and ethnicity by income. We also included summary indicators of median loan amount and median borrower income as well as a set of indicators describing loans made for investment purchases.
