EITC Eligibility by Geography

There are two datasets. The first shows the characteristics of earned income tax credit-eligible tax filing units by different geographies. The second shows the same information, but for tax filing units eligible for either the earned income tax credit or the additional child tax credit. The geographies include state, metro area, county, and non-metro areas. Data is from the 2018 American Community Survey as modified by the Urban Institute's Analysis of Transfers, Taxes, and Income Security model.
