This entry contains key statistics derived from the 2020 Financial Lives Survey conducted by the Financial Conduct Authority. Based on the raw survey microdata, we generated statistics on the share of adults without emergency savings and the share of adults using alternative products at the NUTS2 (Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics), regions of England, and nations of the United Kingdom geographic levels.
The data for this research have been provided by the Consumer Data Research Centre, an Economic and Social Research Council data investment, under project ID CDRC 787-01, ES/L011840/1; ES/L011891/1. Raw data from the 2020 Financial Lives Survey can be accessed on application from the Consumer Data Research Centre (CDRC).
